Excursion to the Ship Museum

- Admission to the session is held for 15 minutes.
- Weekends: Monday and Tuesday.
- Children from 5 years old are allowed to visit the museum.

Excursion Program:
The opening of the world's first tanker museum in Baku gives local residents and tourists an opportunity to learn more about the history of the Caspian Sea and the Shipping Company, as well as with the hard work of our heroic sailors. The ship-museum "Surakhani" plays the role of a link uniting the past and future of modern Azerbaijan, where ancient traditions of shipping are carefully preserved. The museum uses advanced technological equipment and introduced innovative solutions. Visitors will be able to learn more about the history of the Caspian Sea, oil extraction in Absheron, the development of shipping, ships that are pioneers in the world, huge sea vessels, navigational aids, indispensable attributes of shipping, maritime hubs with a rich history, and ship equipment.

The museum also has a restaurant where visitors can try national cuisine and seafood dishes (for an additional fee). In addition, in the souvenir shop on board the "Surakhani" ship-museum visitors can buy interesting items related to navigation. These souvenirs are specially made to order by the ship-museum.
