We went to Baku from San Francisco in September of this year and had a wonderful time. We travel extensively around the world, have been to many contries and continets, but I have to say, the trip to Baku was one of the most pleasant trips we have ever taken. Explore Azerbaijan did a great job organizing our stay. From entrée visas to Azerbaijan and hotel reservations to the airport transfers and restaurant reservations and sightseeing tours, every step of the way, we felt personal attention and care of Explore Azerbaijan, and that was great. Very friendly and professional service. Special thanks to the owner of Explore Azerbaijan, Vugar Hadjiyev for his true Azerbaijani hospitality, it was very refreshing to see. He takes pride in his roots, loves his country and does everything possible for his clients to enjoy their stay in Baku. Baku is a beautiful, gorgeous city that has truly flourished in the past two decades. Wonderful, very friendly people, delicious food and unbelievable pahlava (local desert specialty; must try coconut pahlava – very unique and rich flavor). All in all, we had great time in Baku and will definitely be back.

"От всей нашей небольшой семейной группы выражаю вам огромную признательность за организацию этого тура.
Также очень прошу передать принимающей стороне в Баку слова бесконечной благодарности за отличное сопровождение этой поездки. Особенно хочу поблагодарить нашего водителя Назима и гида Фариза. Они профессионалы и именно они сделали наше путешествие незабываемым.
Откликались на все просьбы, показали нам Азербайджан, рассказали об истории и культуре. Фариз и Назим очень интересные собеседники и в длительных переездах мы не замечали как проходило время.
Особо хочу отметить трогательные моменты, когда именно благодаря им мы нашли места в городах Ленкорань и Евлах, где родились и жили мои родители (улицы переименованы и из-за этого были сложности), а в городе Евлах мы совершенно случайно даже нашли родственников, с которыми моя мама не виделась 60 лет. Родители и все мы в полном восторге от этой поездки; всё, что запланировали состоялось.
Азербайджан сейчас совершенно другая страна, чем была в 1980-е годы, как я её помню. И Баку и Ленкорань и Гянджа – это красивые, современные и очень красивые города.
А Баку сейчас по красоте вполне может поспорить с Парижем и я знаю о чём говорю.
Горы и водопады, широкие реки, равнины и море – в Азербайджане замечательная природа. Кажется за эту неделю нам успели показать всё.
Еще хочу отметить, что нас поразила доброжелательность людей на улицах, которые сами предлагали помощь.
Я могу всем путешественникам рекомендовать Азербайджан для интересных и насыщенных путешествий и они точно останутся полными впечатлений.

Два дня назад вернулась из поездки по вашей прекрасной стране!
Хочу поблагодарить за работу гида Эльмара.
Преподаю историю искусств, поэтому к работе гидов особенно придираюсь.
Эльмар сумел подать информацию оптимально!
Во-первых, исчерпывающе рассказывал о достопримечательностях.
Во-вторых, не перегружал подробностями и историческими деталями, понимая, что люди приехали отдыхать, а не слушать лекции по культуре.
В-третьих, всегда отвечал на все наши вопросы, поверьте, мы их задавали часто и много: и нефть, и кулинария, и культурология, и обычаи, и т.д. и т.п.!
Понимаю, какой объем материала надо было освоить, т.к. мы двигались почти через всю страну.
Приятно удивило отличное знание русского языка и отменное чувство юмора!
