Breakfast at the hotel, check-out and departure to Ganja
Ganja is the second largest city of Azerbaijan, a monument of ancient culture, the industrial center of western Azerbaijan. This city, which played a large role in the history of Azerbaijan, was located at the intersection of caravan roads. The country's history is permeated with the significance of this city, which for centuries was the capital of the country and the trade hub, where merchants from various countries flowed, traded in silk, fur, spices, Damascus steel and other medieval treasures. No wonder that the name of the city in translation means "treasure". At the entrance to the city, travelers are greeted by the mausoleum of the poet Nizami. Ganja is inextricably bounded with the name of this poet. The mausoleum is still a place of pilgrimage for poets from around the world.
Arriving in the city. Check-in at the hotel.
Truly, an unforgettable visit to the architectural ensemble of Sheikh Bahauddin. This monument of the XVII century architecture includes a caravanserai, Shah Abbas mosque (Juma mosque), medieval bath (Chekyak-Hamam).
The Juma mosque was built during the time of Shah Abbas, its architect Sheikh Bahauddin was an astronomer, so the mosque has one interesting feature. At noon, the shadow falling on the western wall of the building disappears. This means that the time of the midday prayer has come.
“Cheyak-Hamam” (bath) consists of two communicating halls. This bath was very popular among the citizens and worked until 1963. Today “Cheyak-Hamam” is a cultural monument. Since 2002 it has been under the protection of UNESCO.
Bottle House - one of the most amazing sights of Ganja. This two-story house is decorated with approximately 50,000 glass bottles and stones brought from different parts of the former USSR.
In the evening, guests can take a walk in a park in the city center - residents carefully preserve these ancient trees of the 16th century.

On the way to the national park, we will visit the city Goy Gol, a former German settlement of the 19th century on the territory of Azerbaijan, which during the Russian Empire was called Elenendorf. It is a small area of German architecture in the East with the houses of the early 20th century, built by German architects, as well as the Lutheran Church.
Next we will go to the Goygol Lake nature reserve. This lake is relatively young - it was formed in the 12th century as a result of the Kapaz peak destroyed during the earthquake. Located among the forests, the lake was unavailable for a few years to visit. Now the lake again appeared in its full beauty to the visitors.

The reserve is widely known for the well-preserved rock paintings - petroglyphs - a kind of artistic archive of human evolution on planet Earth. The rocks of Gobustan are not only the brightest witnesses of the prehistoric period of human existence. They reflect the history of this region for almost 15 thousand years - from the end of the Upper Paleolithic age to the Middle Ages. Today, Azerbaijani scientists have identified, described and studied more than 4,000 petroglyphs (rock paintings in stone carving techniques) and this important work still continues. Before starting a Gobustan tour, guests will visit the interactive museum, where they can get information about the history and nature of Gobustan using special multimedia programs and touch screens.

Vegetables and fruits are brought to the market from all regions of the country: tomatoes, peaches, pomegranates, different types of nuts, etc. have their own taste depending on their region of origin!
